EA Down Under released three new screenshots of
Half-Life 2: Aftermath. The expansion should be available in March 2006. In related news, the official Steam website has posted up word that a
new Day of Defeat Source map - dod_argentan, is now available for download.

HL2 felt rushed. It had the nifty visuals and the pace was slick, but the story sucked as did the non-innovative gameplay. Because of the pace it didn't feel as repetitive, but if you stopped to smell the flowers you'd notice all the faults and the trickery done by valve Still, it was a joy to play. I hope this expansion will be somewhat more than hl2; more weapons, better story design, nifty-er maps and of course the same, if not better, pace.
From what was promised and what was delivered HL2 was a total disappointment Felt like an EA game  . I hope this exp will give me a reason to re-install steam and beat HL2 a day before the exp. release so I can get on top of the plot.

| When I'm paying money, it does matter. Not interested. Played HL2, was boring, only thing that would interest me is more characters but it's got that lousy chick in it as it is. Couldn't care less, crap she's even wearing the same clothes, ewww. I'd rather play as the bad guy, stopping Gordon. But that would have taken creativity to a new level for Valve. The day I buy this crap expansion, lol, that will be the day. |
