to scale well with memory speed, so the boost to memory speed between architectures is pulling some of the weight in that review, while someone who tests with the same memory speed across all chips will eliminate that difference.

Of course he was wrong. His POW is very weird and unrealistic. Zen 5 is a smidge faster for desktop but uses ~30% less power than Zen 4. There is a LOT of value in just that. But not to the newzelander, oh no. If it's not 3D cache and pumping at least 30% more fps out of his super overpriced nVidia 4090 it's not worth a penny.
And people watch that channel.
