Activision has released a single player demo (local US mirror ~ 656MB) of
Call of Duty 2, allowing you to try out their World War II first-person shooter sequel. The demo includes one mission situated in El Daba, Egypt, where you're tasked with destroying four artillery guns.

i felt the same about te AI once you have played it once u know where everything is its boring after the second time through, bit of a shame they couldnt make it a little more open so you could pick a path to take. spose i will just have to wait till stalker is out.

this game is a amazing. don't listen to these two blokes, get the demo try it out. They did a great game. The AI is actually quite good, but considering you were playing it at NOVICE, what do you expect. Hell! I had AI guys chucking my nade from inside a room back to where I was, guys dive behind sandbags and even wait for me to come around a corner before bashing me with their guns. This game is WAY more than I thought it would be. Very very impressed. It's worth the download even if you finish it in 10mins/20mins on hardest skill level. If only other games had gfx and sound that worked as well as it does in COD2. STALKER.. pfff. I play LOTS of games, like nearly EVERYTHING that comes out. This game is a keeper. Kudos to the dev team. They are gonna impress lots of die-hard military fps fans.
