| if I remember correctly, even with the GTX 3060, the difference between the 12GB and 8GB model was around 17-18%. |

if it doesn't have enough VRAM, GPU will literally create occasional stops in the gameplay because it will use system RAM and that's slow... IF this is not happening, then it's not VRAM itself, it's something else. More VRAM doesn't bring more FPS, never did, never will. Provided that it has enough VRAM.
as for 3060 8gb vs 12gb, idk, I know of 1060 3gb vs 6gb. 6gb was faster but it ALSO had more CUDA CORES, that's what made it "go faster". Not VRAM. |
