Okay, that was very underwhelming.
1-5 FPS gain is close to nothing (no notable difference) with a 50-80W increased power consumption...
What does this card cost, again?
And what does it cost to power it?
Clearly, it makes no sense to buy it. |

It's not a gaming card, and never was. The only people who should get this are people with more money than sense, or a few professionals who need that 24 gb of video ram and those people know who they are.
Anyone who gets this for gaming only had better be rich enough to not care about the expense, otherwise they're just wasting money.
The practical card to get if you need a high end card is a 3080, if you can find it at a decent price, or the Radeon 6800 XT which is roughly equivalent. |
