Very sad the demise of second hand gaming. Picked up many a great game that I just wouldn’t buy, at the time, new. Manuals, charts, maps and keyboard overlay. Sigh....
My best, last ‘steal’ was a steel battalion (green) controller (shabby box) and both games for £20 or about $25. Absolute mint condition about 15 yr ago.
Anyone remember the promo boxes for Quake in the shops. About 3ft high? I had one of them. Carmageddon with Max Damage with red LED eyes lit up with a couple AA bats.
Ecstatica ring a bell with anyone. What classics has anyone else. I can’t remember off the top of my head - it’s that long ago what oldies I have stuffed in the garage. Still have a ton of PC boxes, flattened for storage. God I feel old.. : |
