It was pretty straight forward to get achieve a solid frame rate. Guides really aren't needed if you spend 10-15 minutes tweaking.

TAA: Medium
Reflections Quality: Medium
Volumetrics Quality: Medium
Water Quality: Medium

Never set Water Physics to Ultra.

MSAA will totally destroy your FPS so do not enable it.

I should probably also mention that DX12 is f*&$ed and will likely cause mid-game crashes. Vulkan is the safest option. If you want to use ReShade with RDR2 and Vulkan... right now you can't, but you CAN use ReShade filters with Nvidia Freestyle which works perfectly.

Not that I'm surprised there are so many launch issues... it's just a shame when it happens to an otherwise very fun and artistically beautiful game.
