Coola has informed me about a possible performance boost for Wolfenstein: The New Order. According to him, by renaming the executable filename from WolfNewOrder_x64 to WolfNewOrder_x32, PC gamers will notice a huge performance increase.
I am using the latest Nvidia drivers but that boost still happened strangely eno

You can rename it to anything you wish, the only thing you achieve is that the graphic driver won't recognize it and hence, the associated profile won't be applied.
There's a new nVidia driver out though, 337.88 - see if it helps before trying this. |

Fuck driver and fuck this game. It's a hunk of shit. No MP, shit textures, lame ass hitboxes, shit AI, no save as you go, checkpoint garbage, boring as shit gameplay saved only because of 8 hours of gameplay. Some are even saying Rise of The Triad is better and was more fun. And RoTT was a horrible reboot.
Title to avoid. Don't say you weren't warned. If you can't help yourself like Csimbi, grab this from a torrent and go grab yourself a case of beer. Money better spent imo. |

Works, even with the latest Nvidia drivers.
Cranked it all to max, to a scene where the game struggled down to ~38fps. Renamed the exe, then it was ~43fps. |
