s-bf-4-simcity-launch-efforts-discusses-future/uot;Rich Hilleman was laying it on thick when asked about the launch of Battlefield 4:

RPS: SimCity and BF4 both had terrible launches. SimCity didnÂ’t work for more than a month, and BF4 still has issues. Surely youÂ’re overhauling how you approach launches interna

Apparently, they did do not even acknowledge what a piece of crap it still is...
I guess they can't because the shareholders would go nuts...

People have no idea how it is to develop games at this scale for 3 major systems (including two that were not available to the vast majority of players and beta testers and coders, etc...)... I really believe what he said is right... Even though some parts are broken, they are so few and apart compared to what BF4 (must) runs everyday...

Money does not solve everything... only time, and knowledge and experience... And I believe the Battlefield franchise (even with all its mistakes and mishaps) has destroyed everyone of its competitors...

Wow, this guy should have given everyone a cigarette after that massive reach around. This was some golden stuff. Not shocked one bit with this major league fail.

The PC version of Battlefield has progressively become more buggy and shitty with each subsequent release.

Compare 1942 to bf2 to 2142, to BC2, etc.

Even the menus would get worse until they became so unbearable, they had to use a website to control settings.

Obviously people here have not played any other BF game....lol.
Yes, BF4 had some bad issues and still has bugs and stuff to be fixed but they can't compare to the SHIT of a game that BF2 was when released!!! Even to this day BF2 has a shitty and not aways working interface...

BFBC2 had a terrible start with the BETA and even worse a couple of months after release....... but hey, i play it even today because they fixed it!

BF4 is what BF3 should've been IMO. The gameplay is awesome, cool features that add more to the MP gameplay. It need a lot of balance in my opinion but hey.... they are working on it. Since the launch the game is a joy to play now!

And.... well, haters and wankers ... they are around since the known history. So... no problemo Cool

There is a lot of negativity in battlelog forums, a good percentage is
infantile whining, but some well deserved criticism IMO. I don't think
BF4 is any buggier than BF3, BC2, or B2. The core issue is BF4 has all the
same problems of previous games that should have been sorted out long
before now. The community has given DICE/EA a proverbial kick in the
ass. That point seems to be missed.
