Apparently EA is refusing to refund players who are unhappy with SimCity's disastrous launch - contrary to an early statement that said these would be offered. One player posted a transcript of a text chat with Origin customer support in which he asked for a refund but was rebuffed. When the customer linked Hatam's ori

Yeah the PC is the way forward.....Not.
Every bloody thing on PC is going permanently online, they are soooooo thick. Even Sony have seen sense and have said that the PS4 will not be required to be online and will play second hand games ~okay we dont know yet to what extent~ but the PC just blunders in like a bunch of cave dwellers and says, you are GETTING these measures regardless. No testing the water, or asking fans, just chucked in your face. EA ate $hit for implementing micro transactions in DS, then retract it, now this with Sim City and online every $hit inc game saves.......
Pirate it?
I wouldn't even waste a keystroke searching for it. I don't even know why you rip it to pieces, then can't wait to pirate it???? Makes no logical sense whatsoever....... You either buy or not and don't show any interest - period. That's my moto |

Unless someone creates a server emulator to handle the numerous back-end functions whose operations are concealed from the client, you are giong to have a hard time playing like that. I'd suggest just buying Simcity 4 if you haven't already. No online DRM and plenty of features that were then stripped out of the new installment. |

| It's simple. Ban EA from your PC (or whatever the choice of your gaming hardware is). |

Are we learning yet?
Between indies, promising start-ups from industry veterans, and games you just didn't play when they first came out, there are more games out there than anyone could possibly play in a lifetime. There is absolutely no compelling reason to buy anything from companies like EA.
Starve them, don't feed them. |

| My wife bought the game, she couldn't play it that night because of her saved game/server problem. I was going to buy it once I realized how they were dealing with saved games. F that.. |

| My wife wanted to play as well but I haven't bought an EA game in ages. If things are better or different by the time we get back from vacation next month then she can have at it. I'm surprised they have twitch integration but no voip. Anyways I imagine CnC will be as fucked up as this game. |
