Mark Valentine has been experimenting with the Source Engine and has managed to recreate the first level of Looking GlassÂ’ and Irrational Games\' classic FPS/RPG title, System Shock 2.

Nice; I always wanted to see a remake.

Wish the guy would just shut up and get on with it! He just babbles on and on, zooming about the level spewing , Sector effectors and line defs...
Besides, we all ready have an HD version of SS2 done a while back. It was very good too.
and i can't honestly see this progressing much before boredom sets in.
I personaly wish that all the greats of the 90's were just remastered for today. I fortunately have a legacy PC which plays everything released from DOS to win 3.11/95/98. SS1 etc,etc................................................................
I could sit and play these games only if there was a total wipe out of mankind and i was stuck in a bunker and life as we know it had ceased. But if they were remade for our hectic fast lives and on something portable; tablet for eg. it would be brilliant! |
