Glad there are more of these little boxes coming out. More functionality is needed though in most cases. Bluetooth remotes as this one are used for the games most likely which means it will eat batteries like no tomorrow. Roku I tried before returning was the same way and less functionality (buttons at least).
I'm still using two wdtv live streaming boxes which are about the size of the roku and this for about 80-100 new. I've got custom themes going and with thumbgen and some other apps all my media is labeled and dressed up nicely like any of the best installs with xmbc.
Glad to see things possibly heat up a little bit since I kind of dig the ultra small box that primarily streams all my shit from my nas to my tv's. THe only thing to top off my wdtv's are justin.tv twitch or own3d support. Licensing in the usa and europe I'm sure causes most of these problems with lack of features or exclusivity. |
