Company Of Heroes is going to be hard to beat for a C&C game.
Instead of a failed attempt in re-inventing the wheel, they should stick to the things they did right in the C&C series. |

From someone who modded the Generals and Generals:Zero Hour AIs to death, having C&C: Generals 2 is welcome but yeah not sure how much more dumbed-down this is gonna be. Back in Feb'03 when the first Generals came out it was bloody fun and Zero Hour was even better but the tech support/patching was absolutely horrid. The devs simply never cared to fix all the glaring issues.
Generals 2 could be just pure amazing eye-candy with nothing for lastable gameplay and moddability to make it a classic to progress the ages.
Not sure I like those C&C Tiberium-like Helicopters at the end of that quick trailer. Futuristic? Yep.. But looks like GDI is now in Generals. |
