The Samurai rose in the first expansion pack for Total War: Shogun 2, and they will fall in the next. Creative Assembly has announced that Fall of the Samurai, a standalone expansion that does not require Total War: Shogun 2, will launch in March.

I thought the original was just ok. The series never interested me all that much when they covered Japan. The country is just boring to me. Bring it back to Europe and the Middle East and I'm game. Africa might even be a good place to go even way back when they had some small empires.
