Every time I see these cool little trailers I get annoyed because the people making them are wasting their time making trailers when they could be making actual movies using this kind of animation and tech...
The game may well be cool but we need to get the people making the trailers to start making actual movies.
And make sure Lucas stays the fuck away from them, which should go without saying... |

The cinematics they've been showing are in the game itself. You make a point but I don't feel that it's valid. Guys who do the CGI can't just drop it and instead do character skills or write quests. It would be one thing if we knew how many people they hire to do a certain job. We can't sit here and say you don't have enough guys on PvP since we have no idea.
The game is pretty lackluster all around though in my experience. It'll do well because Star Wars is on it and that's the only reason. |

Note that I said movies, not games.
And yeah not a huge mmorpg fan myself these days, they all tend to become a giant hamster wheel you run in for gold or xp or whatever. I'm hoping there is actually some story in this one, Bioware has done decent Star Wars stories before. I'm sure the game mechanics etc will be pretty robotic and "push button here to kill enemy A" type stuff. |

Playing the beta in these days 25-28: really hoped for something more.
Dated graphic and too many bugs.
I really think I'll cancel my preorder from amazon... |
