I hated Deus Ex at first. Jesus Christ what a clusterfuck in the technical department. Graphically a onsole port all the way, with a fake DX11 stamp, just so it can be classified as DX11. Well Crysis 2 DX9 is leaps and bounds better. It is also quite heavy on both the gpu and the cpu.
Thankfully, besides the technical department, it is an awesome game non the less. I'm hooked. Almost as much as I was with Witcher 2.
I even made a gameplay video, for anyone that is interested.

It's highly addictive. I think i actualy repeated my first aug point(s) about 5 times just to see what i could do with changing them. There's no doubt it's got replay value -saying that, i feel like i barely touched it it's so refreshing.
One thing i would like to have been able to do, is to have been able to take hostages ala, Splinter Cell.
Sometimes you go for a silent takedown and the cutscene shows you standing up right in full view of other enemies -supposedly- being cool.
Also you can't innitiate a takedown against anyone that is NEUTRAL, you notice you can draw a gun on them though?
There was times in the police station -going through the vents into rooms- i startled an officer or two. I wasn't OBVIOUSLY going to shoot them, would have liked to have incapacitated them though quietly. (The AI always appears to be first to go hostile and you to have to react -with violence when you don't want to, or of course run away. But it's not always possible)
A blend of the current Deux Ex: HR and Splinter Cell and this would have been utterly mindblowing!
As it is, it's still a very good game -so far. |

| Who cares about graphics? Yea it's nice to have but if the game sucks it's essentially a gold covered turd. I haven't noticed anything awesome since the dx9 was released anyways. Doubt we'll see anything either until xbox180 comes out or whatever. |

Well there you go, i just stumbled on the fact you CAN attack ANYONE, whether they are neutral or not. Even without a prompt you can walk up to them, face-on or behind them and just press the attack key and hey presto, ninja assassin |
