The Commodore 64 is now available for sale with pricing starting at $595 and up to $895 for more advanced hardware including a Blu-Ray drive and a 1 TB hard disk drive. DIY PC makers can also purchase a Commodore 64 shell to put their own hardware inside for $295.

C64 was my first computer, it was stolen a few years ago.
If i had the cash i would get it.
lookt at there website and it runs windows and linux (ubuntu is installd as default i thing i read)
Its not powerfull, but as a cool thing to have, it rules.  |

I wonder what the emulation is like with these new PC C64's, and if it beats WinVice 2.3 coupled with a HardSID card.
It's still nice though, but they should have collaborated with these guys to create something a bit less PC'ish: http://c64upgra.de/c-one/
They only have a mobo that fits in a standard ATX case, but if it could fit inside an actual C64, now that would be heaven. |
