It seems that some hackers may not only have managed to get
around Sony\'s new PlayStation 3 banning system, they could even manage to turn it around and
get innocent gamers banned for doing nothing wrong.
1) The bans are based on the users\' account and console ID\'s.
2) We can modify all traffic sent an

Well nothing like a bit of inconvenient chaos to wake the system drones and get them mad at the power control freaks. Next time they might not support the draconian mentality that wants such centralized control over others.
Of course the likes of Sony (like all big sharks and government) will just shift blame and hopes the sheeple side with them and their legal bullshit policies, if only all sheeple consumers liked getting fleeced. |

| I'm pretty sure logging into PSN requires a password. He can send all the junk data he want's to Sony, it's not going to do anything. If he found a way to access another users account on PSN, then there's personal and CC info that can be accessed, which would be a bigger story. |

since you can create as many psn accounts as you want, Sony would have to ban ps3s by id, otherwise you’d just need a new account to get unbanned... making banning pointless.
So the idea has a lot of merit to it.
the only 2 things actually preventing it is the ps3 id like heretic said and the amount of data Sony "wants" to ban someone.
the dorks at Sony should just get the stick out of their asses, the xbox360 has been cracked for years so has the wii, certainly didn’t fuck up their business... |
