I actually enjoyed this video. Never had an Atari 2600.
Combat must be the first game I ever got to play. Jesus I was like 7yo back then, lol! |

| Hahaha that's great. I have and played all those. I active MAME as it is. LOL! Yars Revenge and Montezuma's Revenge was great, probably my favourite as well as Pitfall and Berzerk. A lot of those were redone for the arcades and were really cool. I was lucky enough to hold onto my old consoles minus my Coleco Adam that cost my parents tons and it kept having problems with the tape drive. I am hoping one day when my kids are older and can appreciate these more I'll get my basement gallery going with each console with it's own screen. I'm still looking for a particular amiga though. My uncle had a great one but he never once thought about me before he gave it away! Arggh it still pisses me off to this day! Those were great years to be a gamer! I can still remember complaining to my parents that my brother was hogging the game! LOL! |

I have to throw my two cents in here - I agree with most of the games picked (and had forgotten about a few of them), but there were a few more that I always fell back into:
Haunted House - a simple game that managed to scare the bejeezus out of me as a kid.
Raiders of the Lost Ark - one of the most aggravating games, but so satisfying when you were finally able to parachute into that cave under the branch.
Empire Strikes Back - fighting AT-AT's, the wrong way.
Adventure! - killing dragons, bat's flying with keys, magic pixels... what else could you want? |
