Yeah, let these Sony chimps BLEED !!!!

Now that we're used at useless burdening firmware "up"grades, I get to find out that this lame console also started muting the sound and show a big fat "Do Not Pirate blablabla, contact blablabla" warning when some mp4 with some scenegroup names in it are playing for 20mins, this was the last drop in my restriction bucket. Let them BLEED, hard !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@ the chap who bought my sony crap on Ebay yesterday : Have phun you stupid dick !!!

Huh? I was originally quite pissed off with Sony after killing the OtherOS feature. So much so I was going to sell my PS3 but it's just so beneficial in my household. I got like 300+ movies I stream through it as well as my full music album of some +500 songs. My movies come out in brilliant quality and then I have a lot of money vested in games, not to mention of course it is the best bluray player on the planet. I'd have been a complete idiot to get rid of such a useful device. So I kept it. I figured as well it was only a matter of time until someone figured out the backbone encryption of the PS3 and eventually I would get my OtherOS feature back. Looks like that will happen any time soon whether Sony like it or not. Kudos to those who have figured it all out. It makes my PS3 even more valuable to me.

Seriously, nothing was more cool than remotely accessing my PS3 with Ubuntu on it from anywhere where. I could also access my entire LAN from my webpage also running on it.
