Looks like Blizzard has made some pretty significant changes to the health
system of Diablo III. While you can use potions or
even some class skills to beef up your life force most of the time
regenerating your health will come from absorbing the health globes
that are generated from dead enemies. The more

Health globes aren't a new design decision. You can watch most of there original game play footage and see these stupid globes appear when you kill a monster. Blizzard is nothing but a bunch of damn liars. they aren't adding anything new the damn game is done. What there doing is the same thing they did with D2 there working on the D3 xpac and putting it on the core D3 disk. That is whats taking them so long. If you think I'm wrong about D2 just install it once and when you install its xpac the first disk it asks for is the core game disk from which it installs nearly all of the LOD expansion. Of course the Blizz fanbois believe all this shit about D3 still being in the design phase that blizz is spoon feeding them. Stop the Lies Blizzard anyone with half a brain that knows how you guys work knows you're lying about the D3 Development.

The game is done. End of story

Health globes? What an utter non-sense. Why not stick to the working recipe?
It seems Blizzard will screw it up, so I guess this game will be a skipper for me...

if they will orientate healing on hp globes, then I guess they nerfed or taken out life leech items. I used to wield some enchanted LL sword/axe with some LL helmet and some zeal like skill (or just plain zeal with paladin class) and that substituted HP bottles...

I'm sure most of the old elements of the game are in there. All they did is replace the flasks of health with globes.. yipee. Pretty useless article really.

You can use a health flask whenever you wish.
To get this "health globe", you need to kill an enemy.
So, when you're almost dead, you need to kill a monster to get health.
The way I see it, that's a pretty aggressive change.

No duh, I am saying in Diablo II I recall killing enemies and they dropped health flasks.. so what difference does it make now they drop a health globe.. whopee.

I doubt it will be the only way to get health. That would be completely stupid. There should be potions etc if it's an rpg or this is just some stupid arcade shit.

diablo is Hack&Slash and it should stay that way. I do not wish diablo RPG, I have Dragon age, ES, Gothic and so on for RPG playing. Diablo is about killing tons of creeps and your left mouse button, when health goes low you keep pressing "0" to drink some of the 200+ large health potions that take up your precious inventory space. I don't see how health globes come into play. Actually I do, enemies won't be dropping health potions that you can use later...at least I assume that's the big and main change.

Did you play Torchlight?
The original was pretty very good (worth every penny), and I expect that its sequel will give a strong competition for Diablo 3.

sure, TL was good but it got boring after some time so I paused it for a week then I simply couldn't get myself to play it again. I think I was 2-3 levels before ending battle and I had well over 200hrs of play (I purchased lots of maps) and I was almost invincible until that patch that screwed enchanters and along with them my life leech 1000+ dmg axe and a 1200dmg hammer Sad Thats when I paused the game with my heart and desire to play broken Razz

It will still be hack and slash gx-x. I still do not believe they will forgo health vials.. they can say what they want.. the game is nowhere near coming out though so it's way to early to be jumping up and down. It's just marketing to see how many people are listening. Wait and see. I'm particularly in no rush to buy this game anyhow..

If things go wrong, they could still fix it in patches - though the online community will be mad then.

Good tactics in case of highly anticipated games.
