I was really ticked off when they did this. Like HuGE! I've sworn now to never touch another thing Sony for the rest of my life.
The only reason they removed this is because once you got Linux on this thing you could do ANYTHING and break the limitations Sony imposed on the PS3. Eg. media playback, playing other games outside of PS3 Network. I had so many things worked out on my OtherOS it really pisses me off they can just go and remove it. If this is how Sony does business and LIES to people about security, they can go fuck themselves because I wont spend another penny on anything with Sony label on it. Some lucky prick gets money back on top of it.. what a joke! |
