Xordiah made a post on Battle.net forumsconfirming there is a Protoss mini-campaign within the Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty episode\'s single-player. Not all units or buildings will be available in that mini-campaign because it\'s merely used to tell a story rather than to show players how to play as Protoss.

| Would be nice if Blizzard would just hurry the fuck up and release a limited multiplayer demo for ALL to actually playtest. Then I can decide if this game is even worth any attention anymore, what with its many changes, stripped content and features oh and 10+year wait. I certainly ain't buying a 1/3 of a game to beta test it, do Blizzard take SC fans for schmucks or what. |

Yes they really should be delivering a solid base game like the original Starcraft did. 2 future expansion packs is fine, I totally liked the SC broodwar expansion for its new units, multiplayer and continued storyline etc. Yet with SC2 I just feel like I'm looking at a screwup regardless of the missing singleplayer campaigns for the other races.
Anyway the quality and size of this Terran campaign and singleplayer gamemode must be really good. I do wonder what they plan to charge for the rest of the parts, full game price again?
And still no word on proper LAN support. That seems about as stupid as InsanityWard messing up their past reputation for making good online FPS games with dedicated server support. |
