In a move to \'cut costs\' EA has laid off 1,500 employees from a number of locations:
The company behind games such as \uot;Madden NFL 10\uot; also said Monday it is laying off 1,500 employees, or about 17 percent, to focus on games that have higher profit margins.

| Saw layoffs there coming for sometime actually. EA has ruined too many games and haven't cared about the gamer much either. Crap releases come back to haunt you eventually. |
