According to responses given to Shacknews (thanks CSNation, Take-Two sheds some light on its publishing deal for Duke Nukem Forever. If you were under the impression that Take-Two funded the project or owns any part of the Duke Nukem IP, you need to read this.

This game isn't going to come out so it doesn't matter. If George couldn't do it for 13 years, how in the hell is he gonna do it by himself? Who's gonna want to put coin into him? 13 years imo is just way too long given the technology in game engines out there for the last few years. He's got no excuse.
