WhatIfGaming has a post (thanks BluesNews) about the controls in the PC edition of Dead Space:
Bad news? The controls are 2nd to the worst controls we\'ve seen ever since Path of Neo came to the PC platforms. The smoothness compared to consoles is just not there, and from what we can tell it doesn\'t seem like a

Common EA practices. Nothing new. Worthless pieces of shit as always. They are sold out to consoles, period. The only goal of their published code is to forcibly try to prove that consoles are better than the PC.
Why don't you guys do us a favor and just drop dead? |

Blame the XBox, since it's the most -supposedly- nearest console to the PC. Dev's probably programmed the whole game with an XBox controller in hand......... |

I don't know if that's true, but it's something that definately comes to mind.
Mass effect was another EA published game that was good on console and a total disaster on PC, so a pattern is forming here. |

Actually, I thought Mass Effect was pretty good. It's not something that will make the history books but I played through it twice and it was equally fun each time with no problems at all.
I was looking forward to Dead Space too! I plan to wait for reviews or download it first.
I guess it's Farcry 2 for now. Oh wait, I already purchased Farcry 2. Good ol'Steam! |
