Pretty sad thing to boast about that Steam-whatever has/or will overtake retail. I mean how can you boast about digital downloads? It's purely oportunists that buy the odd 'cheap' title on STEAM and that chucked together with lower mainsteam title sales means everything is rosey in Gabe's eyes? How petty do you want to get.....
It's *physical* sales we need to boast about for the PC, that show's how healthy it is.
The fact that someone gets up off their ass and buys a copy from a shop is what we (as PC owners) want to hear. How else does several MILLION copies of GTA4 get onto peoples consoles? They BUY IT FROM A SHOP!!
MGS4 will eclipse probably everything sold on STEAM.
All this proves -through Gabe's childish boast- is that, once again, PC sales are **PATHETIC**. "Oh the machine is better than consoles, oh it has a keyboard and mouse" Sooooo, why does the talk not match the sales of games then???
If Console game sales were digital, then it wouldn't be surprising to see sales into the BILLION mark.
Steam? Yeah nothing buts clouds of it! |
