The Battlefield Blog now offers a new trailer showing off multiplayer action from Battlefield 3, DICE\'s military shooter sequel. Battlefield 3 hits the store shelves on Tuesday, October 25, exactly one week from now, on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Later, it’ll be available on iOS mobile devices as well.

Chirst on a stick, would somebody turn off the B3 hype machine, please? This is getting ridiculous. I'm not even buying the stupid game because of those two letters on the box, yet every time I go to a gaming website I see "IT'S YET MORE MOTHERFUCKING BATTLEFIELD THREE!!!!!!!!!!!11111" plastered all over the page.

Exactly.
I enjoyed BFBC2 very much, but this marketing fest doesn't do it, not buying this fuzzcrap. |

I too enjoyed BFBC2 and before playing the beta myself I also thought this game is getting overhyped.
BUT
this game, being yet another shooter, deserves the hype. It's the best (modern) Battlefield I have played and really tons better than BFBC2.
Still not sure if I'm gonna buy it though, because, you know, it's just another shooter in the end  |

It's another shooter for console you mean. I haven't seen an actual fps or shooter released for the PC in years.
Wish I could actually play those things. |
