Not really surprised by this, with a demo you get to see a lot of the flaws before hand and can give you the option of skipping really awful titles that have a very vocal if misguided fan club.
On saying that if companies don't give decent demo's or in the case where you have to download an obscenely large file as with recent titles I wouldn't be surprised if more people download a ripped version to see if its worth spending their cash.
So many games these days just aren't worth what they cost and people seem to be getting fed up buying shiny new incredibly expensive coasters. |

What it's saying is that trailers sold more games than actual demos, not the other way around.
Some very narrow minded individuals out there.... CGI is NOTHING like the actual game nor gameplay. GRAW2 (trailer) being a perfect example. |
