In Cold Blood is an action/adventure game developed by Revolution Software (Broken Sword 1/2 makers). The game is a near-future-based espionage thriller set in Volgia, a former republic of Russia, giving the game an instant grim atmosphere from the start. You play the role of John Cord, a MI6 agent who wakes one day to find himself held in an interrogation chamber. You have to find out how you got there, with a storyline that jumps around from the past to the present and is only finally resolved in the final third of the game. There are two men, one is an experienced government agent, a trained killer and the other is an enigma. These both men can be you - John Cord, betrayed, abandonded and you can't remember the truth. So you have to search in your memory for clues, because two identies sucks :) Its pretty interesting story, isn't it? In Cold Blood features a top quality pre-rendered graphics (over 400 locations), highly atmospheric 2D backgrounds with Cord and the supporting cast appearing as 3D characters in the foreground, stunning advanced light and shadow effects and plenty of very funny dialogs. In Cold Blood is very interesting action-adventure, though the playing requires a lots of patience, the controls are generally unwieldy both on keyboard and gamepad (the same like most others Playstation to PC conversions).
