Unlike other 3D technologies Flash has a 98% market penetration and does not require installation of any additional plugins.
Welcome to war
They say, in space no one can hear you scream ... is that also true for
alien space ships when they get blasted into oblivion by your Legendary
5-Rocket Hydra-Launcher?
Pro 3 Games holds the answer and portraits it in the most breathtaking
3D action ever displayed in a browser game. Some slow motion effects
included, accompanied by an epic soundtrack.
It is the year 2169, mankind has been united by G.O.R.E., the Global
Organisation for the Restoration of Earth, reigning with an iron fist.
But G.O.R.E failed. Mankind ultimately reached the point of no return.
There is nothing left to save the exhausted planet Earth from its final
collapse. It was sheer coincidence that G.O.R.E. seemed to have found a
way out. They opened a gate to the star cluster NGC6259, a possibility
far beyond anybody's imagination. Fresh resources and an inhabitable
planet promise to be more than just an exile but a new beginning for
anyone willing to join G.O.R.E.. Starforce Gamma, their main fleet and
symbol of G.O.R.E.'s omnipotence, was entrusted with securing the star
system Menr'akim, by any means necessary. It was a disaster.
Starforce Gamma was hopelessly outnumbered and completely wiped off the
star maps in the greatest ambush ever, leaving no survivors. G.O.R.E.
calls upon civilians to become mercenaries and to join up forces with
their only remaining fleet, Starforce Delta, in an epic battle against
the enigmatic Shar'dal aliens. Their plan is to ultimately tip over the
balance of forces in the favor of G.O.R.E..
Welcome to war.
You take on the role of a mercenary entrepreneur, assisting G.O.R.E.'s
war machinery on their way to Menr'akim Prime, the last best hope for
men. In the cockpit of your trusty space fighter you fly dangerous
missions under the command of young and aspiring Lieutenant Commander
Catherine Winters. That is only until Fleet Admiral Lance puts a reward
on Energy Cores, an alien technology that proves to be an essential
resource for the advancing of Starforce Delta. Mercenaries turn against
each other in a fight for Energy Cores, money, equipment and the best
pilots in space, in the midst of the very presence of the hostile
Shar'dal.
While everything turns into chaos Admiral Lance seems to be using the
moment for an inofficial agenda of his own ...
But why should a blood spitting, death defying, roughneck mercenary
mind? You are just so close to getting your hands on a Buffalo Mark 5,
equipped with a Gravitational Anomaly Generator, 3x Engine
Super-Charger and protected by double Iridium Plating, going to show
the others that war is a game with only you as winner.
Oh yeah, and your Legendary Hydra Launcher can come play too. So let
the Admiral do whatever a Fleet Admiral needs to do. For now.
its good, for flash, but breathtaking is a little too much.

Graphics look like sci fi from ten years ago.

I hate the word Starforce and everything it represent: this is the once word that spawned Steam and other online crap robbing gamers from hard-copies.

It looks nice to me, but I guess majority of you think if it isn't 100% directx 11 quality graphics, it must look like its from 10yrs ago, which if I must remind you that Master of Orion 2 was 17yrs ago, looks crap by today's standards but I still play it.
Its the best 4X game out there, nothing has come close to replacing its crown, this game if done right has the possibility of being a good game, but I am not so into top notch graphics, might I suggest to you guys to try the game out first before you say its crap.
I do miss the good old days where gameplay was the focal point of all video games, then story, then graphics, but now-a-days its all about how many freaking polygons it uses.
