Mobile Forces is a multiplayer oriented team play shooter that delivers explosive vehicle combat (it means you can drive your troops into battle) combined with traditional FPS action. This game is all about action, no story, no plot. You simply choose one team (Red or Blue) and one of the gameplay types. The full version of Mobile Forces offers these modes: Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, Captains, Capture the Flag, Holdout, Detonation, Safecracker and Trailer. How you can see from this list, there are also some unique multiplayer modes such as Holdout where you have to flick a switch in a middle of the map to show your color and keep the opposing team from switching it to their color, Captains where you have to take out the captain of the opposite team, Detonation where you have to enter the enemy's base and activate self-destruct devices attached to the enemy players, Safecracker where each team has to hook an amount of gold from the other team's base and Trailer where you have to steal the vehicle that is towing a bomb on a trailer and drive it into the enemy base. You can also download the first MOD for Mobile Forces directly from the game creators, which adds Mental Race mode, where you have to complete laps of a level, by crossing checkpoints in the race car provided.
Mobile Forces includes eleven huge levels, including airport, dock, ice base, car park, warehouse, railyard, sawmill, hydro power-station, all of the levels support all of the gameplay modes.You choose from 9 weapons (knife, pistol, shotgun, machine gun, heavy machine gun, sniper rifle, rocket launcher, grenades, proximity bombs), each with alternative firing mechanisms, for example   Machine gun can be fired quickly in normal mode, or "accurate aim", Laser Trip Bombs can either be thrown to activate them as proximity mines, or attached to walls/doors/vehicles as strategic traps etc. You can also choose how many weapons they want to arm themselves with - but being armed to the teeth weighs you down, so some players choose to only take a pistol and get a substantial speed advantage.
How I mentioned above, there four different vehicles - small dune buggy, humvee, large transport and huge armored vehicle. According to developers, the Vehicle physics been done by the guy that did the physics for Grand Theft Auto 3. I must say that all the vehicles are really pretty easy to drive.
So is Mobile Forces really enjoyable? For those who enjoyed playing multiplayer-only games like UT and Quake3, it's definitely some fun, especially with variety of the game types and ability to drive vehicles.
