Did you ever dream how to become a detective? In Pursuit of Justice you have play the role of the lead detective....try to imagine how your boss introduces you to the basics of the case... A young man is dead. Who killed him and why? The game allows you interrogate witnesses and possible defendants, interview jailhouse informants, examine crime scene evidence, examine crime scene evidence (including analyze fingerprint, chemical, blood, and other lab test) to prove your case, look up criminal records, relevant case law and more. Then, if you have sufficiently organized your case, you can go to court. You can only prove that the defendant is guilty if you present the correct evidence and witness testimony is court. Once the trial starts, you cannot go back to any of pretrial locations until the case over. It's same like in real life. During the trial, you select the topics, question witnesses, and object to defense questioning. Utilize the same logic real attorneys use to prove the defendant's guilt. Of course, the trial may end before the jury reaches a decision, through dismissing the charges, bungling, or misconduct on your part, but that's real life. Will a killer go free? ... it's not a dream, it's Pursuit of Justice! :)

Pursuit of Justice costs 20 bucks, it's not quite good price, but remember it's not a game for everyone. That's why I didn't write a mini-review with rating as usually. For most regular gamers (I mean kids who playing shooters etc, it's rather for an adults) it will probably too much boring, I bet you will play RTCW instead this "interactive detective sim". But maybe your parents, who don't like computer much, would be like investigate a real-life crime. So it could be a nice gift for them. Try to keep 'em busy :) In addition, Pursuit of Justice requires only some Pentium with 32MB RAM and 2MB Video Card.
