when support ends you can pay for security updates (expensive limited ESUs) So whether it’s Win 7,10 or 11 you’re still in the same boat as a home user.
Businesses on the other hand are subscription based.
Why do you think we had Win Home Editions etc.
I couldn’t give a shit about anything else in Windows as long as it loads games that’s all I’m interested in.
Those that need it for business use, eg Win 11 Enterprise, that’s Microsoft demographic target and subscription model and always has been throughout OSs.
Back a few years ago there was fake news that Win 11 would be a fully based cloud subscription OS.
People need to smash their mobiles and get out more |
