CD Projekt Red released a statement on Twitter today noting that the company has been the victim of a cyber attack. The ransom note was released to the public alongside the announcement, and it claims that the hackers have uot;dumped full copies of the source codesuot; for Cyberpunk 2077, Witcher 3, Gwent and uot

I'm sure they had backups.
Any organization should, these days.
If they were smart, they kept customer data encrypted, so hackers would not be able to use it.
I hope they do the decent thing for once.
