Valve has released three new videos, showing nine minutes of brand new gameplay footage from Half-Life: Alyx. There is no doubt that the game looks great, though itâ??s a bummer that this is only a VR game. Valve also does not currently have any plans to release a non-VR version of Half-Life: Alyx.

having to teleport to move is a major downer.. until something for that happens in vr land I'm not interested.
And if it doesn't come to kb/m I don't care, valve can go fuck themselves, they'll be fine sponging off steam sales to make games anyway. |

Yeah didn't like that aspect either. Like I'm playing Mist or something. Things like this just totally turn me off of VR.
The gfx however to me are blah. Lighting looks horrible and unrealistic and actually just looks like they used a unmodified Source engine.
I agree, Valve should just be pushing game sales.. clearly their game making skills are long gone. |

God, that is pathetic.. I didn’t see how you went backwards? Everything was like a giant caterpillar going along forwards -with no legs- bounding. Imagine being chased how rubbish it is that you can’t creep along walls stealthy. Now you can see it was purely made on crap VR software and couldn’t port over to PC. Reminded me of that early Platform Genesis game with the floating big hands and no arms?? Edit; Rayman |
