On the account of one extension they expose millions of PCs to threats. Wonderful.
Truthfully, I don't really care, the situation had to be unfucked real quick and there was a way to fix it after all.

It was an eye-opener though so I'll keep an eye on Vivaldi.
If only I could find the missing addons for it...

But it was fixed pretty fast, if you had normal firefox Very Happy Yes, it was a fuck up and I am also worried but anything chromium based just doesn't cut it for me.

Sadly, that seems to be my conclusion so far as well.
You know, I used to worry about Google spying on you and stuff, but now I had an opportunity to understand that there are far bigger problems with Chrome.

I ditched that pos back in the day when they refused to implement smooth scrolling. Like, seriously, dafaq? Then I can't change my start page (to my speeddial page with thumbnails)...then...argh...uninstall. (I am aware that it's a "me" problem)
