Back when PC Gamer had people on it's team that made it's magazines worth it. They all left. Then I switched to some other clone mags that were way better. Now PC Gamer is a total trash magazine and 10x the price. Never really used/cared for the demo discs as I was a member of a bulletin board and was very active in that scene. I had crap queued and downloads were going on all through the night. Back then I used to get/trade hundreds of discs for other stuff. But it was also the time for lan parties and back when people weren't arseholes cheating like today on the internet. Ya in some ways those days are missed. |
