This demo shows how broken it is, really.
Check the diagonal door and how the light passes through its bottom part at 4:47 and thereafter.
That's not quite raytracing!
In a raytracing scenario, the door's surface should have blocked the light.
Pathetic attempt, really.

it's not full on RT, they define how many passes and rays they want and how far should they look for information. That door, the doll further back, etc, are too far from viewpoint and are probably not taken into RT calculation fully. Anyway, it's not like I am going to buy 2080Ti to play that game in 20fps with RT ON. It's insane. Maybe next generation in 3 years will be able to deliver. First generation of nVidia cards that did ambient occlusion struggled with it a lot. Today it's just ON by default.

I honestly don't give a shit anyway.. You'll need a 2080 card and there is no way I'm buying one for a looooooooooooong time. I got a lot more important things to buy than nvidia's ripoff video card. Rolling Eyes
