| I have a radeon 9700, and I have just installed the latest drivers (4.6) and it is now being listed in Device Manger as a 9500/9700! You just gotta love these stable, fast, and above all, accurate drivers!!! |

| its saying 9500/9700 because thay use the same core. they used to use that naming scheme earlier, but seperated them, i dunno why they switched back to the old scheme. |
