This is sounding pretty good. I kind of liked the first game though it wasn't as big as I hoped it still was fun to play. Based on what these guys are saying this game will be a lot bigger and the gfx look like the will be decent too. It's funny, when you look at those drawn maps they remind me of when Ultima came out, they had really nice maps I even think I have a cloth map from one of those games kicking around. Kinda looking forward to this release, I hope they don't fuck it up. |

well, these guys made gothic 1 and 2 and one part 3 before they made Risen. I have no doubt Risen 2 will be top-notch. They have experience and talent, one of the best quest writing guys and so on. Story is always immerse, I can't remember one boring quest in Risen... |

I think there will be both versions, but imo for this kind of games, having a box that contains an actual printed map (like you saw in the video) is priceless (not really, 60€ would be ok :d ) |
