as an owner of the first Empire Earth, to me, I wasted my money. the game was dull. I'd expected a lot more. Rise of Nations on the otherhand is just lots of fun and the expansion makes it more so. I'm actually surprised the first Empire Earth sold well enough to make another..

i thought the empire earth was a good game, plenty of good storyline! Although I do agree that Rise of Nations was probably better, as it had more replayability!
