For people that can read, 4080 16gb is AD103 chip(this is the new chip in series, bigger die), 4080 12GB is AD104 chip. 4070 could be (and probably will be) cut down AD104 chip. For instance, 1080 is GP104 chip, so is 1070Ti and 1070, just different variants, same die size.

But what do I know, I am not a journalist like people from TechSpot. I present facts, not projections.

edit: we can expect that 4070Ti (or "S") will be cut down AD103 chip and 4070 to be cut down AD104 chip. (these are now my projections, not facts)

Facts won't get you clicks though because they are very boring.
Hence these speculations and "projection" as click-baits.
