I bought one copy of GT a looooong time ago and while it was an excellent driving sim, I just hated the lack of damage. I recently bought BeamNG and I prefer that over licenses. Same for ETS2 and ATS, when everything that breaks is a spreadsheet, that’s no fun. When you see it going tits-up in BeamNG you can’t help but go FUCK ME! Laughing

GT is not a sim, its an arcade. A true racing simulation game is Assetto Corsa, AC Competizione or iRacing. None of those have a proper damage model, but thats also not the reason why people play those games. They primarily need a proper physics and tires simulation, which those games get done perfectly. Damage is still being accounted for, just that its not really looking as neat as in BeamNG or Wreckfest.

It was a sim released on the PS. F we were talking PCs, well we had Geoff Cramond, GP Legends and the like which were mind blowing in settings

you obviously have no clue. Better stick to racing games which rely on damage model rather than driving physics ...

Ok smart arse. Were any of them released on PS3? Since we’re talking about GT….or did you conveniently have a brain fart at that point?
Now let’s go back to GP Legends, which you clearly haven’t a clue about physics in that game and, judging by your comments, didn’t even bother to look it up. I’ll not even go Geoff Cramond since your utterly hellbent on just being twisted. Btw, damage model is part and parcel of a fantastic game engine. So go away, read-up on those games then come back.

Your games came *after* and on different platforms. We can all say the Eurofighter is a better plane than a Spitfire, if you weren’t around when the Battle of Britain happened, eh…
