A hard disk is for storage - not for computing unique hashes.

This crypto doesn't use proof of work (hash computation) or proof of stake (people securing the network with staked cryptos) but storage space.

Which is in its own way at least as wasteful as using proof of work. There is no need for this nonsense, proof of stake seems to be by far the cleverest approach, no miners abusing graphics cards or stockpiling hard drives, especially now.
