Add 100 bucks and you have a PS5.
Not sure why would anyone buy this anymore - the name alone might be enough for small volume of hardcore fans, but they are mostly dead, or are of an age where they just don't care about video games anymore...
To everyone else an Atari is meaningless, especially with these specs (they were poor specs even two years ago) and price point.

As a huge fan of the original VCS, I am hoping the new VCS create something different in the gaming world. I am just not sure why it is priced at $389.99 Sad it should cost ~ $149

What's the point when you can have all games on your PC? Heck even an android mini pc or phone can emulate them. And not only those. Myriads others from other systems as well.

This would probably make a great little HTPC or game streaming box plus old Atari controller ...I mean a retro feel....for veterans Razz

But I agree it will be difficult to sell. Atari made some really poor decisions here. It‘s way too expensive and the launch date couldn’t have been worse. I wish them good luck but sadly I predict a major flop.
