In addition to the lack of cross-play in Fallout 76, Todd Howard revealed in his interview with German PC magazine GameStar that Fallout 5 would be a single-player experience, just like previous installments. This may be a hint of Bethesda’s strategy going forward, in that multi-player experiences will be relegated t

It's just ridiculous to me that people are protesting a multiplayer game. The next installment is Fallout 5, this is another game that is multiplayer. People should be excited about getting more to do in the Fallout universe, not all worked up because it can't be played offline and fully solo. |

Because like Bethesda has said they like single player games. This game is the complete opposite. Now they mess in a game people have enjoyed for years trying to make it MP. Why? Nobody asked for this? The majority of true FO fans don't care about this crap. They want to continue that single player experience. Then there is the obvious inherent delay for them to release FO5. But then there's the easy to please crowd where someone can shit down their throat and they still smile after swallowing. |

Because Bethesda are a business, in capitalism. They like this thing called "money", which they achieve by creating this thing we call "games".
They're not in it to make the fans happy. They're in it to make money.
Multiplayer games make money. GTA V / Online is the most profitable entertainment product ever created, because it's a great game that's coop multiplayer that keeps adding fresh content.
Bethesda sensibly want some of that money.
Besides, I too love coop multiplayer. I'm actually going to be getting the game, because I can see the combo of Fallout and multiplayer being great fun. If it's done right. |

Ridiculous. I know at least 3 games of the top of my head that are vastly more profitable than stupid GTA V. |

Obviously the 'for money' is the reason but I remain skeptical it will be big seller. |
