Football is undoubtedly one of today's most popular sports in the World. As the war in peaceful time, it goes far beyond the meaning of the game, but it evolves into a cultural and social phenomena. The World Cup is a world event of this culture.

The championship has been awarded every four years since the first tournament in 1930, except in 1942 and 1946 when it was not contested because of World War II.

The present format of the tournament involves 32 teams competing for a World Cup gold trophy over a period of about a month. This stage is often called the World Cup Finals.A qualification phase, which takes place over the preceding three years, is used to determine which teams qualify for the tournament together with the host nation.

2010 South Africa FIFA World Cup

The 2010 South Africa FIFA World Cup is the 19th current FIFA World Cup and the premier international association football tournament. It is being held in South Africa between 11 June and 11 July 2010.

This is the first time that the tournament has been hosted by an African nation, after South Africa defeated Morocco and Egypt in an all-African bidding process. Italy are the defending champions, after winning the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany.

The tournament is the culmination of a qualification process that began in August 2007 and involved 204 of the 208 FIFA national teams. As such, it matches the 2008 Summer Olympics as the sports event with the most competing nations.

I watched this match live in stadium, is was fantastic match, both of teams played good, there fore i enjoyed a lot.
