Publisher Microids and developers Virtuallyz Gaming and Microids Studio Paris have announced Syberia Remastered, a remake of Benoit Sokal's point-and-click adventure game classic for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam). It will launch in Q4 2025.

Bunch of hypocrites.
First they sack the Microids Paris team that made Amerzone (30 of them) right after it went on sale. Citing cost,sales, production etc.

Then they make another remaster of Syberia which probably has as much interest in todays generation as an amoeba on a keyboard.
£35 for a les-than, 5 hr game. = Amerzone. The biggest laugh was they promptly gave away the original thinking it was going to garner them sales and instead backfired |
