I wish I was in the 32” 4K/8K monitor business. I would honestly bundle an AMD CPU like this with it, charge £2000 for them both and watch the suckers pour in. All because of nothing more than graphics. Not gameplay or AI, just because it has 4K or 8K in its title. The shallowest gamers in the world.
As long as it’s in 4K and it’s churning out 40/60 fps that’s truly all that matters.

Oh and I would sell them the “ultra wide” as well; because they love that exclusive tag that they moan about on steam. “If it doesn’t support VR,Ultra wide” then it’s *no buy* kerching! Because they buy it even if it doesn’t support it Laughing

Can someone tell me WTF happened to PC gamers? Remember when we talked about the depth of a game and replayability. Smooth fps of course. But VR in 1080 and 40% of your GPU wasted in rendering the extra pixels in 4K

You just need to read their infantile reviews on Steam etc to find out how shallow they have become

They grew old and died.
Today, it's just meh...

People are in it for the money, not for passion.
It is shallow.
Even great titles like Homeworld went tits up.
This is the new generation - all about the looks and zero depth.

Homeworld was just shockingly crap! I mean it was like a generation of devs that hadn’t played them at all and thought the same of their target audience.
It’s so bad I can’t even remember the demo, other than the butchered camera controls!

Here’s another today. From the (mighty 20+ years ago) name Microprose released on steam EA
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1286220/Sea_Power__Naval_Combat_in_the_Missile_Age/

Check the release price and as I said, EA and Microprose.

It’s embarrassing.

And it rated 'very positive', lol
That actually suggests that there are no real gamers around anymore...
